I moved to Connecticut from New York with plans to pursue my bachelor's degree in marketing. A few of my friends encouraged me to enroll at CT State Manchester because they had wonderful experiences here. I took their advice and submitted an application.

My biggest challenges as a student are time-management and job security. I have both a full-time and a part-time job in addition to my five college courses, and it's difficult to juggle so many obligations at once.

Receiving a scholarship has been a great help in allowing me more flexibility to focus on my coursework. I am very grateful for this opportunity, which brings me closer to my goal of going on to earn a bachelor's degree and starting my own clothing business.
